Annual Golf Tournament

The Fifteenth Annual P.B.A. Local 154 Golf Tournament was held on Monday, May 23, 2005 at the Golf Course of Concordia in Monroe. The weather all weekend and into Sunday evening threatened to make the day a soggy one but in the end we had a perfect day. We would like to thank the golfers that played, the staff at Concordia for their assistance and the PBA Membership that worked the event for taking part and making this our best tournament yet. Once again we were able to provide several special prize holes,  Bridgewater Volvo and Annuities Plus provided us with two exciting holes with special prizes for a Hole in One Winner and the PBA sponsored a hole where there was a chance to win a set of new King Cobra Golf Clubs. 

In the cooking department "Chef" Tony Presutti trained some new helpers and "kicked it up a notch" on some gas grills provided by Friendly Rental.

As with any fund raiser, it is through the support of our sponsors that this tournament is a success. Please take care of our sponsors and patronize their businesses whenever possible. 

Lastly, on behalf of the P.B.A. we would like to thank the staff at Concordia and Ray Bridy for making the switch an easy one. When we started looking for a golf course to fit our needs we found that the task was going to be a complicated one. Fortunately, for us we were directed to this location and found that we would be able to work well together. They provided our golfers with complimentary curbside check in and bag handling as well as a complimentary driving range and putting green to warm up at. It was their attentiveness to details that ensured we would return next year.
